Results of entry exams for university study: Students with recognized foreign studies must undertake the following procedures for access to Spanish universities:
Convalidation of secondary school studies (pre-university) to the Spanish Bachillerato. The other procedures must be carried out even if final convalidation has not yet been obtained, by presenting a document issued by the Ministry of Education, Social Policy and Sport confirming that it is in process; in this case, the results of the university admissions exam as well as the subsequent registration in the university will be conditional until the student presents the confirmation of definitive convalidation from the Ministry.
Taking the University Entrance Exam, which is also required of Spanish students seeking admission to a university. It can be taken in any Spanish university, although it is recommended that it be taken in the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED) (National University of Distance Learning) as they prepare exams designed for foreign students.
Preregistration in the Spanish university or universities selected. Applicants should check the deadlines for preregistration of each university as they may not coincide. Preregistration may be done in various universities.

In the case of a restricted number of places, university graduate applicants will have a reserve percentage of 1% of the places offered. The degree must be convalidated before the final date for preregistration.
